WTB: AES multicore cable

Hey gents!

It's a long shot... But does anyone have any spare AES multicore cable hanging about that they want to move on? 4, 8 or 16 channel?

...or even more straight to the point, DB25 to AES cables suitable for apogee 16x converters? They are a little different to most AES cables as they don't have 8 in plus 8 out on one DSUB, they have 16 in or 16 out.

I have a 3ft Alva AES Db25 male to Db25 male + an AES adaptor that converts between Ta@#$% and Yamaha wiring config (either way you like it but for Apogee it's the Yamaha wiring config for AES).
Like new, used once.

Hey Ben, I appreciate the offer but the cables will still require some modification.

The Rosetta 800 uses the yamaha aes standard. The 16x series, while still using pins 1 through 8 and 14 through 21 like the yamaha standard... It uses them all in one direction. 16 channels in, or 16 channels out. It would make more sense to just buy yamaha aes cables and swap 4 xlrs on each, which I would need to do with the Ta@#$% cables anyway when using an adaptor.

The 16x cables are a little stupid, aren't they? My task is made a little simpler by the fact that I am just trying to connect a few rack effects via XLR.

The connection is so ridiculous that Lynx's recommendation for connecting two 16x series interfaces to their AES pci card is to buy 2 Lynx DB25 to XLR AES cables, and 2 Apogee DB25 to XLR AES cables designed with the 16x pinout... and then connect them together via XLR in the middle! That is $520 worth of cables to make two DB25 to DB25 AES connections.

Bah. I might just grab some HOSA AES cables and swap some XLR connectors.
