Have you noticed any increase in functionality with the Apollo? There seem to be conflicting reports on that...

Yes for me it was particularly great because I also have 2 firewire UAD satellites and the card enables me to connect them and run each on a separate firewire bus.
One other bonus is that the card also enables you to run the apollo on a lower than 512 buffer setting from within your DAW.
