Hmmm... I'll also note that Turtlerock is not generally known for it's "dreamers and time-wasters".

"Can fetch" is probably a more adequate description. I grabbed one for $1400... Until I realised it was a $1400 box that went boooom.... Shiiiii.... Boom.... Shiiiii.

Then quickly sold it on.
Maybe the point sailed right over my head, but I didn't see what all the fuss was about (other than sayin' "I own an 808" of course). Boxes like the acidlabs Miami or Elektron Machinedrum offer so many more features and such similar sounds (well... The Miami anyway)... For a fraction of the cost.
Mmmmm. Parameter locks.

Sorry I had a feeling that Blip is another Adam. Please correct me if I am wrong. I often assume too many things and get in trouble later on. Just ask my wife.
Go in peace.

Can't work out if I dream about wasting time or waste time dreaming..... ahhh sarcasm, now I feel better.
Is that really what TR-808s are worth? Hope you get it, but I thought that sound was in every Roland module since the 808 (it's in my TD-20X anyway). Boomp kisht kwik kisht <repeat>.
I think you're on the radar blip ;-)
