Not sure what tape width though, from memory the 2" version has rollers?

I think you may be right. There are so many different models and each one for a specific purpose that you would have to get the model number and then check it on the Tentel site........it's so long since I purchased mine that I can't recall the specifics.

that looks like a 1" to me. Yeah the 2" ones have rollers, which I'd say is the one you'd want.

1/4 inch or 1/2 inch. 1 inch at a pinch. .. 2 inch and 1 inch have rollers. A good buy if you run tape for 2 track.Mega expensive in their day and boy do they make setting up tensions a breeze.

Curiousity got the better of me so I did some digging...........by the scale (0-240) on that unit it is probably a T2-H7-*** and is specifically for VHS recorders.
Audio tape machines use the T2-H20 series with a scale range of 0-600grams. The H20-ML is a general purpose non-roller for tape from 1/4" to 2". The H20-1 and H20-2 are roller models for either 1" or 2".

I'll have to get my set out and have a look, I haven't done any tensions for a while. The 2 " has definitely been asleep in its little case for many years.
the 0-240 would still be OK for many audio decks, from memory the Studer 1/4" are not very high tension.
Certainly the early Ampex machines were a bit more vicious.
I shall check my manuals and report back.
