FS (Sydney) - Mackie HR-624 and HR-824 Monitors
Posted: Tue Nov 12, 2013 2:53 pmIt's a little hard to settle on an appropriate price for these - as the prices on ebay seem to vary quite a bit, and these units don't come up too often - but I've done my best to suggest something realistic.
Both of these pairs of monitors are in great condition, except as noted below.
They weigh quite a bit of course, so for now they're pickup only from Redfern, NSW. I don't have the original boxes, but can find something given some notice. No printed manuals either, but you can refer to the PDF version instead.
Power cables supplied.

Mackie HR-624 High Resolution Studio Monitors (pair, original "Mark 1" version)

A very small amount of black surface paint has come off around one edge of the power switch on the front of one speaker. You could touch it up with some paint very easily and you'd never notice. Otherwise excellent condition.

There are a few small, faint marks on the left speaker cone, that don't effect the performance. Will probably wipe off you want to try, but I've always left them. Barely visible in low light.
As is typical of this model, the laminate on the front panel of the left speaker is separating slightly from the wood, leaving an approx. 5mm gap down one edge. This isn't actually visible when viewing the monitor straight on, and it would be easy to paint the underlying visible wood black and you'd never notice. Doesn't effect the performance of the speaker.
Similarly, the right speaker has a 2mm gap on one edge.
