I don't know who made this console but it is very similar to Optro equipment of the time. The desk has the name John W Adams and Associates.
Modular design with a card for each input and output.
The six inputs are: Tape, Projector, Video Tape,Cassette, Disc, Microphone.
Stereo outs are Control Room and Booth.

Last time I had it going it all worked fine but a good idea to have a tech give it a going over.
Asking $600

I can throw some light on the origins of this console.
It was built in Melbourne by John Adams in the early 70s and was probably installed in an Advertising Agency in a presentation room. He built a number of them for many agencies at the time.
The top plates were all engraved manually and the fader slots cut with a slight angle (to look nice) using a "Gravo-graph" Panto-graph engraving machine.
John was mainly working for Armstrong studios at the time and knew Graham Thirkell well, and has since worked for ABC, SBS and for the last 10 years or so for our sister Station 3AW in Melbourne.
John also assisted in the construction of 2UE and 4BC Studios in the last 10 years as well as 3AW studios in Media House.
I just spoke to him to confirm that this was his handywork and he nearly fell off his chair when I told him there was still one in existence.
He still builds things with the same meticulous attention to detail in between stroking the egos of Talk back presenters.

so there , a little history for you. :)
