Studer D21m for sale

Hi fellow sound junkies,
I have a Studer D21m 'stage box'/digital interface for sale which could be a very useful device for either a studio or mobile rig.
The unit was designed as the I/O for the high end Studer consoles, and as well as handling all A/D and D/A, has 12 card slots. I have 11 x mic/line preamp cards, each with 4 remote controlled preamps and buffered splits for PA etc for a total of 44 inputs, and 2 x 8 channel D/A cards. I used this system as part of a mobile recording rig, so it is in a floating rack fibre case with all breakout available on EDACs and XLR - photos and specs on request. With one more card than available slots, I shuffled the output cards depending on needs.
The preamps sound fantastic and the unit operates at either 44.1/48k or 88.2/96kHz.
Connection to a DAW is via MADI on optical fibre, and an RS422 connection allows remote control of the preamps via a simple Studer utility. The D21m takes its word clock from the DAW. You just plug and play.
Last costing on the unit was $25,400, but I am happy to pass it on for $12,000, including existing case.
