I'm after a cheap studio rack, pretty much exactly the same as the one I sold here not long ago (d'oh!) Something like this http://www.omnirax.com/index.php/DisplayProduct/0-69

12RU would be perfect. I'm in Melbourne.

Hi Wez.
I know you said cheap, and this might not be the cheapest way out, but I bought materials for this rack for about $200.
If you have a bit of time on your hands, you might bang something like this up and have a nice timber rack for not too much money. I have some plans in Google Sketchup (which, probably, only I can understand :D ) but they can help build it.
The upper part is 13 ru and the bottom 13 as well (I just have my Computer in that space at the moment).
My unit turned out a tiny bit rough, as I was running out of time, but it can be built into a nice piece of furniture.

P.S. I have the rack sloped this way to match the profile of my console (on the right side), but it can easily be modified to suit an angle you need/enjoy.

Thanks Senad, looks good. Actually I have something similar in the shed from a previous studio incarnation, as well as a couple of other racks that I built myself.

But for now I just need something cheap and cheerful that will fit under a desk :-) No time to build anything (which doesn't always work out cheaper anyway!)
