WTB - Otari mx5050 1/2 inch pinch roller
Anyone have a NOS pinch roller around - or know someone who has a stash of Otari parts?
I can get one from JRF in US - but hoping there is a spare somewhere in this country.
# Also - is there maybe a reputable person /business who re-rubbers pinch rollers in Au?

You ended up with a 5050 too?

(thanks again to Alistair Reynolds - i had a hunch he was the man to steer me !)
Plus my 8Tk has had very little use - so the bearings on the roller should be near new anyway.
I'm also thinking a Polyeurothane roller will last much longer than NOS Otari stock rubber
(common - squishy melting rubber problem at a certain age)
Nice to get back on tape...

I have a 5050-4 and a 5050-8. The 8 has a pinch roller from jrf...fun fun stuff. I'm just across the water from you right now on bruny by the way.

Had never heard of them but oddly enough, I've earmarked a building a few doors from them for our works possible expansion. Conveniently, they're about 10 minutes from where I live.
