$400ea

60's guitar sound or fat, and bottom end for days, then these things are a secret weapon.

Awesome on drums!

Pre API 5250 op amp design.

Very Very RARE and don't come up often, well, they never come up.

They have 2 huge UTC Ouncer transformers and where THE recording preamp for RCA recording desks from 1960.

"The BA-31A replaced the legendary RCA BC-2B tube pre in the early 1960-61. For the most part these were in every major recording & broadcasting studio in America until the 1970's."

The pic is an example of how they could be racked up.

This is not the unit for sale.

Cheers
Phil

Have some BA34's, would be keen to look at the 31's. Can you PM a price?

Hi Alistair

Now you've got me thinking.

They've been in storage for 2 years.

They maybe BA 34 B/C.
They have the metal tray.
There's one version had an integrated 110V PSU.

These do not have that.

I'll have to check

Cheers
Phil

The 34's are double the width of the 31's and have a power supply built in, so if they look anything like that image, they should be 31's!
