Mouser

We know some parts are difficult to find here in Aus.

So just aheads up for DIYers who may feel a little better about themselvs if they purchased from and Australian outlet.

It seems you can order Mouser parts from http://www.x-on.com.au/ and not pay overseas freight.
Only catch is thar the Aussie prices are more than 50% higher. So it's not cheeper but may be better for smaller purchases or hard to get one off items.

there may be advantages to this. recently I couldn't find some opamp pin sizes here but knew the Mouser part number. Ordered through X-On where it cost me $10 postage plus a coupple of $ for the part.

If I ordered these direct from Mouser I still would have been charged $30 postage according to the mouser website when checking out.

Yesterday had an order cost me AUS$216 direct from mouser but would have cost me arround AUS$250 through X-On.
