Sitting on my desk in front of me are three Carnhill inductors for my EQ project -
VTB9043 (= Neve T1295)
VTB 9044 (= Neve T1280)
VTB9050 (= Neve T1530)
While the Carnhill inductors have the same taps as the Neves, they do not seem to be a drop in pin for pin replacement when I look at, say, a BA211 PCB. I didn't get any documentation with the coils. So does anyone here know the pin outs of the Carnhills (the Carnhill website is not helpful) - and yeah, the pin soldered to the shield casing I'm guessing is ground :-)
I know I can measure inductance by setting up an oscillator and a volt meter, but I'm lazy enough to ask for help first.
Anyone?

and here's the answer already.
I don't need to measure impedance, 'cause I know the values - I just need to know which pin is which, and that can be done by measuring simple DC resistance - higher resistance, higher impedance.
It turns out that the values go clockwise looking from the top - easy once you've found where 0H is.
