Acoustic tiles issue!!

Guys,
I'm having issues with my acoustic tiles (on my roof).
Bought the Tubetak glue and used double sided tape to glue the tiles to, but they still keep falling off the roof.
the double sided tape has stuck to the roof well and is not lifting, its the Tubetak glue thats coming away.
Does anyone have a better way of securing foam to the ceiling without it coming loose and falling off?
Apart from stapling it to the ceiling (which is not an option)..
Temp-tabs are a way expensive option (but do they work ok?), so considering any suggestions.

it depends on the structure of the tiles..

ours have a metal frame and are rigid.

we used a small bracket (metal with a hole to screw into the tile) then used a chain and another bracket to fix it to the ceiling. others we screwed the bracket directly to the ceiling (no chain)

Not looking to screw anything into the ceiling.
The Pony complex looks great.
I'm looking for stuff that wont wreck the ceiling too much (if I even need to remove it).. hence th edouble sided tape, etc....

Screw holes may be easier to repair than paint peeled by tape removal. Something to think about!

Staple holes will be even smaller - good point Kurt..
Might just bite the bullet and staple them on..
The tape is actually a good quality one that peels off without removing paint, etc.. hence why I used it first.

if you want to keep the up on the roof there is nothing thats not gonna wreck the ceiling ( cosmetically under the tiles)
wise up to that fact and there are a world of options .
quick grip is a good as place to start as any

untill i can get my anti-gravity ray gun to work on the close range setting :)

you can borrow mine. since i modded it with the HV bullshit detector, and a six-cartridge creep-repellent, it's been working great.

but it may not work in sydney - the tolerances are too fine.

there is a great acoustic tile glue made buy the guys that do green glue ( but its not green glue )

fonic in brisbane supply it and you can order/get it from billy hyde here in camperdown

but if your just talking a couple of tiles go down to bunnings and buy shelleys kwick grip
in a 1litre tin and follow the instructions to the letter .
once its up - its up for good

btw liquid nails will not work ! you need a contact ( spread it on both parts glue )
