Soldering Iron Recommendations?

Finding the cheapo one I have too 'blunt' for fiddly work - any suggestions?

Just file the tip down to a blunt point thather than have the wide angled tip.
I did that with mine - made alot easier for getting in to toghter spots and soldering jacks/XLR's..
I also have 3 soldering irons - large, med and small so depends on what I'm doing which will determine which one I use..

Most irons have exchangeable tips (held in place by a small screw), so you can buy replacement / alternative tips from Jaycar / Dick Smith etc in a variety of tip sizes and shapes

I use and can recommend the Weller brand, mine has variable temp and tips are easy to change for different types of work. Like the one below but with variable temperatue pot.

yeah i have an adjustable temp unit with sponge holder and changable tips from dick smiths

good price-point for one that isn't being used that much . . .
