Hi all,
am organising a Brisbane-based event in June this year and looking for someone who might be interested in running an entry-level DIY workshop with a simple project that could be completed in 2 x 2 hour sessions with a group of max 20 people - ideally something simple and fun.
PM me if interested and I'll give you some more details.
Cheers

Hi Dave
You might find some ideas/inspiration on this site.
http://nicolascollins.com/hackingworkshops.htmMost people who do these workshops have no technical background. Have a look at some of the video's....... they seem to be having some fun...also no 240V
cheers
Ben

Thanks Ben
great idea. Have seen Nicolas' stuff before - does look like heaps of fun. Still need someone to run it though (I'll be in logistics mode) - anyone interested?

Hey guys, yeah I might be interested. I am interested to find other SEQ audio DIY'ers to compare builds - particularly valve mic pre and vari mu design ideas.

Thanks mate - but pitched at a *much* lower level this time round. Think we're leaning towards something like Ben's idea at this stage.
