Case recommendation

I am looking for some suggestions on a case for my diy preamps.

I don't want or need the typical 19" rack mount cases.

I guess I need something around 19" wide, about 2 or 3 RU high and about 9" to 10" deep.

What I want to be able to do is have easy access to the inside, as there is a good chance that I will be accessing the inside to change ICs about now and then. I don't want to have to remove it from a rack, nor undo 8 Phillips head screws to get the lid off.

I have actually looking a bit left of centre on this, and think it might be cool to have the preamps in something unexpected, that looks quirky in a way.

For example I was thinking about some sort of hinged old tin of some sort.

Failing the arty farty type thing, anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks

Peter
