Plenty of electronic music that requires musicianship....a lot more than that required to play pub rock imo :P

Electronic music to headsteady rock 'n' rollers will always be "shit they just make on their computer" and rock 'n' roll to dedicated electronic guys will "four chords bashed out at the pub".
There's amazing music in either direction, and along with it there's amazing musicianship. At the same time of course there is absolutely woeful music made on guitars AND with synthesizers.
My $0.02? The smart guy is enjoying the best of both...

Touché, my good man...
Touché!
haha. Come now... there is no need to turn a tongue in cheek comment into a serious discussion. hahaha... that is all a bit to intense. Make music you like... f&%k everyone else...
The music in that jeep clip isn't all that great, it's the theatrics of performing it that makes it so fun to watch.

The best thing is, Lucas Abela (guy in the Kombi pope race) IS getting arts council support to play his music. I'm pretty happy my tax dollars are going that way.
Guitars/computers are just tools in the end anyway.. relax!
