Did this recording March last year where I decided to give the TNC mics a go. On the piano are the 2 x ACM 310 and on drums are the 2 x TNC ACM 4 dual ribbons, on Kick and Bass guit is the ACM 1200. All went through my Optro desk with the 7500 modules.
It was a quick one in the Yamaha music school in Caulfeild. I pushed the electronic keyboards to one side, set up my gear in the room as we were a bit pressed for time, ( four tunes in about two hours from arrival to pack up) and away we went. It was for the piano player, Joshua Juandy. I know the drummer Gideon Marcus who works at the pianists school. On Bass is Mike Williams. I make a guest appearance around 3:50

Great vid. I'll have to go and listen to it through something other than laptop speakers but the mix sounded good and the piano was bright but not brittle. The kit sound excellent too.

That piano player's a little monster - he only looks 12(!)
