I presume Tesla is a bit of a hero to many of us, so this bit of news might interest some.

An American guy who runs a web comic strip ('The Oatmeal') decided that Nikoli Tesla doesn't get enough respect. So when he heard that the building for Tesla's old laboratory was up for sale, he started a fundraiser to buy it.

He raised a million dollars in a week.
