Wow, i had heard about this thing a while back but hadnt really found out much about this cool machine.

What i really wanted to find out was what the purists think of such a toy. Ie: The people that frequent this forum.

Does it have a real future in musical applications or is it doomed to be relegated to the dusty back rooms of some hardcore synth collector?

I for one would love to have a play around with this thing, but i dont think i would ever really try and produce a track using it soley as an instrument.

The thought of trying to mix a multi track from this thing does my head in.

I feel it's a very cool user interface, but thats it... it's not like there is any new 'audio' technology going on inside it.. just a virtual synth.. (With a very cool UI)

used by bjork, along with lemur's for one of her shows.

this stuff is the future of GUI....to hell with shitty interfaces :-)

if you listen to as much electronic music as i do, the coolness of stuff like this make me pitch tents.

i personally dont like the hum ho randomness of what it is...or what it looks like at least, but this could be the start of a nice development in GUI....key word GUI heath, ya bloody hardware snob :P

It also doubles as a Stargate. Very handy.

Yeah but would'nt a neural interface be better though? The gui is interesting though and yeah it does look like a stargate.

Ok I agree it is pretty cool. :)
