I'm launching a new forum called Audio Guild, it's designed as an educational tool for students and up-and-coming engineers.
Note that you cannot read the forum without registering, but you can read what it's all about in the welcome section.

Hey Mark,
What about a studio design and build thread? I know john sayers exists but a more localised one would be informative. Im sure a lot of guys on here would have plenty if great information to share.
Just a thought.

Hi Mark,
This sound like a great idea. I often have students asking me where they should be looking for info to further support their studies and work. More than once it has come back to bite me when I have sent them to forums and they paid a little to much attention to some one on gear slutz or similar who liked to do more posting than audio work. Or they have been completely swamped from a simple question turning a bad accounts spread sheet (1176 n83729 8492 j48493j) when they just need the words 'Gain reduction'.
Nice concept.

No one has reported and similar problems. We're getting a far few registrations every day so I suggest that you try again, and if you have no success email
support@audioguild.org and I'll sort you out.
mark.
