Here's a challenge, how many pieces of gear can you actually name from that pic?

I visited Abbey Road in 99. It felt like going to mecca.
Studio 2 did it for me and still does. The day I was there McCartney was setup with band in studio 2 doing "Run devil run" (Dave Gilmour on guitar). Before they came in I had a chance to have a tinkle on paul's piano. ;)) It was a live recording setup, but strange thing was the screens were away to the sides still. Just all open room.
They must have been lovin the spill obviously.

It's a really good weird kinda feeling walking into that recording room. I've never had that feeling before... or since.

ohh and the cafeteria also did it for me, and the old dear behind the counter that made my tea.

........now that would be an amazing experience. Sorta surreal in some ways i would imagine.

The link was posted up on that other forum .........:) and I thought it was a good one to share. Someone mentioned a secret spy room over studio 2. I assume it's inside info or an inside joke. Anyone ever heard mention of it?
