Well, of course. But my WTF moment was more along the lines of "I think I'd like to have all my mic pres available to me".

I can think of a least half a dozen gigs where I wish I'd had one of those in my kit.

and no doubt you could plug it in at the end of a mic lead / stage box and have light where ever you need it

oooo, in the stage box - I like it!

If you've got a DriveRack and you're not using the RTA mic input during the gig, you could connect a channel from your multicore to it for phantom - no channels taken from your desk.

actually a pretty good idea! wouldnt buy it though
