Oddly enough, the only Multimoog I saw in real life was in a Perth pawn shop a decade ago. I think it has been sold since then, sadly.

I have a really nice one here but I don't really want to sell it. They are an interesting synth, Moog built some real oddballs in that era, The Micromoog, Multimoog and Sonic Six are all quirky instruments.

you guys know much about the z80 chip that was in the moog source and i believe P600?
any others?? I dig that vibe.. seems like a less common alternative to junos.

The Z80 is a microprocessor that was common in many synths from that era. They are pretty reliable though I did replaced a failed Z80 in a Prophet 10 this week.

The Z80 is a CPU. It is a microprocessor IC that is used to handle the digital functions of the synth such as patch memory and sequencing.

Matt, haven't be!@#$%^& just cloned the P600?
Gawd knows why... I've never heard anything interesting come out of one, at least in the internag demos.

Bottomfeeder have never cloned anything.
The P600 is a surprisingly good sounding polysynth, as is the Six Trak. You have to actually play them, you-tube videos are not a good way to judge instruments. The are basic in their feature sets but when you plug one onto a system and play it they are very engaging and fun.
