Hope that some of you guys might know what synths were used for this particular album, I know they used a Yamaha SS-30 for strings etc but what else was used, I am trying to find what ever I can but only for this album at this stage and not what was used after 'Vienna'.

Hope that some of you guys can assists.

Hi there,

I know one of the synths definitely used was an Arp Odyssey (virtually all the solo sounds)

I did have a 80's mag all about this...but its all boxed in my spares shed !

I saw that all the wild sine wave modulation on the Odyssey lead lines was done with the VCO 1 mod slider, all of the paint around that slider is completely worn off his ARP's.... He basically seemed to keep one hand on the keys and the other on that first slider all the time. I think that he has a portamento mod on the Oddy too, something to do with a footswitch... Sometimes it sounds like there are different rates on the up relative to the down glide?
