Wow, the biggest collection of oversized useless dinosaurs I have ever seen outside of the Australian Parliament.

nobody needs to buy a mitsubishi sigma. you can get exactly the same effect of owning one by pouring a big bottle of oil all over your driveway, and getting the bus everywhere.

heh... as for my korg sigma - now I need to work out if I actually want to sell it or not. damn.

Don't.

I love mine.. If it was good enough for Wakeman and Jarre and Emerson, it should be good enough for us.

I dunno.. it's a hard choice. I do like it, but I just don't really ever use it. and to set it up for use would mean taking down something else, and there's nothing else in my studio i'd be happy to take down. maybe I just need to get a bigger studio?

oooh... sounds valuable!

so what are they worth these days, anyway?

that seems about right.

I've got a heap of stuff that is better than the Sigma, and since rebuilding my studio, I haven't even got room for it either.
But whenever I plug it in and let loose with it, it always brings a smile. Such Raw viscous power.
I think part of it's charm is also the supreme expression you can get out of it with aftertouch and that cool filter and modulation / pitchbend joystick.

I think the Roland SH-1000 is in the same camp.. horrible synth on paper, but sounds frigging awesome. Very underated.

Regards
Mike

Cheesy, but informative.
