Hi,
Got a Yamaha CLP550 electric piano from the 80's that is in pristine condition but sadly not working.
Tried googling to find a schematic with no luck...owners manual is available...thought that I would try here for schematic source.
Anyone know where I can download one or purchase one?
All four internal fuses are OK....I'm suspecting one of the two relays...a schematic would help trace things though.

Hi Steve,
I have isolated the problem down to the main board.
The stereo power amp is OK and the power supply rails appear right.
No tantalum caps to be seen on the main board..lots of 0.1uf decoupling disc caps, other disc caps and bipolar and electrolytic cans.
Might be getting beyond my technical capabilities at this point without a schematic.
It is a shame as the unit is pristine with a good weighted 88 key action.
Probably offer it up for sale as is or for parts if I dont make any headway.

Now offered for sale as is might be OK as a midi controller for someone who wants 88 full size weighted keys as the midi out function does work.
Also been offered a hard copy of the service manual with schematics ex UK at 32 GBP.inc post.
