Geez we are all such gear snobs - but you know what? With talent and passion you could make an entirely acceptable record with that gear. I'm not sure I'd like to sing in that anechoic coffin of her iso booth, but I'm not going to diss her dream just 'cause she's proud of her setup.

But I agree, being proud is one thing, being proud like that for 10 minutes on YouTube is just showing off and inviting ridicule.

But I agree Nic, you need to sell all that outdated gear of yours (in ridiculously cheap Turtlerock auctions) and modernise your studio. $200 should get me a M77 and a pair of Quad Eights, yes?
