Avid control 24 functionality post PT11?

The for sale posting for the Avid 24 got me interested enough to look into what it works with - PT10 and prior seem the only apps that work (properly) with the unit. I have PT9HD but don't really want to go backwards with OS version to run that..... I see a guy has developed a script that runs some functions in Reaper in a clunky sort of way, but can't find anything else....

Anyone have any more knowledge on this?

It's sad to see such a nice piece of equipment worth such a pittance compared to what they were worth a few years ago, but that indicates it's a bit of a dinosaur...
