hey, i need a hardware sampler, doesn't need to be fancy/modern/expensive - just solid and reliable (for live use). keyboard/rack/desktop/MPC2000-style all considered. someone must have something lurking in storage that they need to get rid of cheap?
cheers, wez

sampler
Hi wes I am new here, I have been looking at the forum for a while and just got in.
I have an akai s 5000 rack sampler that i bought brand new a few years ago, used it for about twenty minutes and its been racked in my studio sleeping ever since. I bought an external cd scsi drive for it aswell.
I would love to think it could be put to good use but its not going to get that here.
PM me if your interested.
Thanks.

how about :
eMu esi2000 modded to 128meg of RAM and internal 100mb zip drive, + USD 100mb and IDE 100mb zip drives for PC transfer.
not actually sure i'm ready to part, but let me know what you think it'd be worth to you.
