Not only did RO'N score the SSL, there's a swag of consoles and other stuff on ebay at the moment - a couple of Sountracs, a Studiomaster and even a couple of old JANDS consoles.

I still savin' my $$$ though

there is a heavy set of disposal rules with the abc surplus gear , its basically public property so it must be seen to raise the highest price .
if you ever see the tonnes of actual junk at an abc auction you will understand why they do it the way they do .

look the auctions are pretty well attended by audio types in the know
the catch is there is never much notice and i am never cashed up when they fall
its ok because its the same for everybody , thats why the sale prices are low .
i personally did not spend 1 cent at the last auction , i didnt have one to spend :(
