Selling my Mac Pro, as my work has given me one.
8 Core 2.8 Ghz
4GB Ram
500 GB HDD
Airport
Bluetooth
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
$3k
Please PM me, if you have any questions, or wish to know any specific details.
The machine is currently running 10.6.2 Snow Leopard, I still have original leopard disks somewhere.
This has been my daily production workhorse, running Logic Studio 2, Final Cut Studio 3, iWork 09, Office, CS4 Master Collection.
The only reason I am selling, is that as soon as the other machine is software'd up - this will be superflocious.
Machine is covered by AppleCare (onsite Extended Warranty) until 20 February 2011
Pickup from Northern Beaches of Sydney, or I can arrange a courier to anywhere in Australia, in the machines original box, for Cost price.

Bump :-)
Did I mention that I while I will be erasing my User account, the HDD won't be erased ;-)
Also, if you are looking at a G5, please remember that a G5 is officially at the end of it's product life, so no O/S upgrades, no Logic Pro 64 bit, not PT 64 bit when it comes out.

Please excuse my Mac newbieness, but is the Mac Pro the latest Mac version full of PCie slots. Will it hold PTHD PCIe cards? Is it running the latest Mac OS.
I've only ever been on PC but considering a move to MAC for PT.
Cheers

No worries guys. I'm not desperate. If I can get rid of these 6031 errors in PT I'll stick with PC.
Cheers
