Certainly patience is required when returning items to the office of Mr Sneezeby. YMMV

But once you have it and it's working properly it is 'special' for sure.
My T1 is simply amazing.
Used it on a spoken female vocal the other day - superb.
Used it on 2 male rappers over the weekend - just magic.
Best mic I have owned or used - EVER.
She's got the mojo - that's a certainity.
Keen to shoot it out against a Wagner and a real vintage U47 soon.
Angus, on another recent thread you mentioned having an Acmp84 with Ben for modding. I also noticed a thread on gearslutz where you mention the same thing, but its dated a year ago. Taking along time? There seems to be a bit of a trend here.

It's always a good thing to see someone like Ben being flooded with orders. I mean that sincerely. 6 weeks wait ain't so bad for something with as much heart in it as his mics.

so I guess back to the original question, it doesn't seem like there are many of these pre's out there, not much feedback. There is one on ebay at the moment but its one of the original models, different transformers, 6db less gain than the current models.

What happened to all the stuff he (Ben S. )was selling on Ebay? The page seems to have disappeared.
