I wouldn't have picked you for a fan Gareth - I also have most of Melanie on vinyl.

I'd never seen that clip before - great to see / hear the backing choir (Edwin Hawkin singers?) - but check out the power of Melanie's voice - who else could stand that far from the mic and still make it shudder

Absolutely...I also have her on vinyl and CD. I saw her in Perth years ago with my muso/photographer friend Dennis. An incredible concert of delicacy and POWER. Dennis followed her around Australia and has some great pics. He ended up singing songs with her backstage in Sydney (lucky bugger). We both fell in love with her.

Great memories of the genuine article. AFAIK she is still at it.
