Verb idea

Has anyone one else thought how cool it would be if a company made a hardware reverb box that you could load up all of your impulse responses at any sample rate so it could be used on an analogue console. Is there something like this out there? Like waves IR in a box that could store them and tweak from the front panal. That would be cool I think.

It's bit clunky, but you can use a computer and soundcard with a DAW running the verb.
Treat it as any other FX unit with your console.

Check the specs. -10db operating level, mini jack input. Very little power.
How do you control it? With another device?
An old laptop with a reasonable (presonus, motu, echofire etc) 2in 2 out converter will give you lot's of power, control, portability and low latency.

My thoughts exactly. I have been using an old computer for reverb for ages. I even use my old G3 with Audio media 111 card as an outboard reverb or other fx. I certainly got my $$$ worth from my one and only investement in Digidesign!!!

I really don't think it would be hard to do using something like midibox or OSC and a simple dedicated PC.

Or even Processing + and Arduino could allow you to simplify the control parameters and map them to hardware encoders and buttons. You could probably remove the monitor and mouse altogether.
