Re: WTB: Pair of Proac 100's
Bump for an incredible pair of monitors. I have a pair which I LOVE.
A lot of producers in the US use them yet here they're not so well known.
I bought mine direct through the Aus distributor - http://www.rvm.com.au/proac
Never looked back.
Cheers,
Darren

Hey Darren
Thanks for the bump. Yeah I don't think I've found one bad article or review written about them, everyone seems to love them a whole lot and after demoing a pair at a hifi store in South Melb I fell in love straight away. The soundstage, imaging & detail is just incredible! I managed to get a great price on a demo pair from vintage king in the states. They're with a friend in LA atm then he'll be sending them onto me, easier/cheaper that way...
I do still need to find a suitable amp though, what you running Darren? I've heard good things about the Bryston 2B LP.
cheers

Re: WTB: Pair of Proac 100's
I bought a pair from RVM a few years back.
Absolutely love them.
I'd say a 2B wouldn't really be 'powerful' enough for them, could work though.
I've got a 4B which works and sounds like a treat with the ProAc's
Also had them on a cheap Alesis and they still sounded great.
Best I ever heard was them with a Chord SPA 2232, that was what made me want to own a pair.
