Hi guys,
I'm looking for a U87, vintage or ai.
Let me know if you have one.
Thanks. :)

Is it normal for Vintage U87's to have the switches snapped off them? YOu know the pad and/or low cut switches.

Yeah, I saw that the other day, but didn't watch it. Looked a bit beaten up and the seller had zero or very low feedback..or that might be another item..? Not sure.. It's not coming up now in the sold items search.
A p48 went for 2K a few weeks ago. The auction was linked to here as well, but I forgot to put a bid in, and it had only 1 bid for 2K...NOt sure what the story was there.

I think a well looked after ai can be had for 2K give/take. Hopefully someone is selling one soon around here.

No, but what happens is people take the head basket off to ogle the capsule and don't know how to get it off properly or if they do they don't know how to get it back on and they break the pins by forcing it.

Yeah I know.. I was prepared to pay a $100 less. I know it is probably worth the money it went for, but I really only need a working mic, without any bells and whistles.
Thanks, I'll call Turra to see what they can do.
Cheers

P.S. just checked.. $3200.. Good price on x-desks, if anyone neds one.. $3000
