WTB: Lynx Thunderbolt LT card

Hey family,

In the market for one of the Aurora Thunderbolt cards. I understand you need to get a card specific for an 8, 16, 16vt or hilo interface so I'm after just a 16 please

I know they're fairly new so don't expect many to be on offer but you never know!

Yeah I think you're right Nath, just mis read what was on the Lynx website:

The LT-TB LSlot card can be installed into any existing Hilo or Aurora with an easy and free firmware update. In addition, Lynx is making Thunderbolt equipped Aurora and Hilo models available at the same time. These models are:

• Hilo-TB in Black and Silver

• Aurora 16-TB

• Aurora 16-VTTB (variable trim model)

• Aurora 8-TB

TB card can be installed in any existing unit with a firmware update or there's model specific units.

I just installed one a month ago. Easy to do. i paid $650 ish at Awave Melbourne.

The New software routing mixer is great. Latency is lower but not "out of this world"

32 Channel mode obviously.

More stable as its not using the USB bus.
