That would be amazing. I would fly up to check it out – is the date likely to change?

Rick,

1) Is there a tentative time of day for this to occur......ie: morning, afternoon or evening?

2) Is it acceptable to bring interested family along for the ride?
ChrisO.....I think. Oh, and F*#K Google, ask me!

Hey chris , no doubt we will quickly have numbers to deal with and opera house security restrictions
But as an idea if your more comfortable with family in tow and they are interested in dweeby studio tours
I see no issue

Hello T Rockers, wow I haven't checked in for a few days thats quite a response.
The tour will be from 3-5pm, you will all have to turn up around the same time, preferably just before 3, at The Stage Door, follow the roadway underneath the Monumental Stairs.

With people possibly coming from interstate I've decided that it will go ahead even if we have a gig, but the time and length of tour may change depending on gig scheduling.

Theres only room for 25 people, interested family members are welcome, but I'd prefer it not to be a family day. Maybe Turtlerock members get first dibs??Rick

We'll mainly be looking at the Intel Broadcast Studios which is 2 audio and 2 video studios.
And we'll also have a look around the venues and technical infrastructure around the rest of the building.

I look forward to see you all in the new year.

I'm looking at arriving in Sydney around noon and leaving around 6.30pm (from the airport). Is this enough wiggle room, Jason?

Hi David,
it depends on who your flying with.
You might have to leave a bit earlier. Taxi to airport from here is about 15mins on a good run.

So there's a chance it may run a bit earlier?

Looks as though it's about 20 minutes on the train, and then maybe a 10 minute walk.

I have jason here with me today
To get this to happen it needed to hide under the
Guise of industry promotion and techinal affiliation
Or some such opera house rule thing
Anyway numbers are limited its not really viable to have too many
Family members come alone i am sorry.

Hi Rick and Jason,
I need to be sure about this. Is the time still 3-5pm? Because I'm told the train is good and arriving three hours in advanced should do it I think.

After reviewing real life priorities, I feel it's safer to exclude myself from this opportunity...........I'd hate to say "yes" now and then be forced to opt out at the last minute leaving an empty spot someone else could have had.

B-)
