I was hoping for a local pick up on this one due to weight/size. If you want to organise a courier then id be happy to box them up and bring them to my work for a courier to come collect from reception.

I haven't used a 4038 so I can't really give a honest answer. The sound on sound review here gives a accurate tonal description:

They are well built/solid mics and each one comes in its own aluminium case.
