automating delays in Protools...

Postby jkhuri44 » Mon Sep 10, 2007 7:20 pm

does anyone know why automating delay time in Protools causes wierd ass clicks and pops??? ie. a clicking sound that gets fedback through the delay, everytime the paramaters number decreases.

or am i the only one having trouble with this??

i tried both waves plugin (SuperTaps) and Digidesign's (Long Delay)

try the TelRay delay - it seems to cope much better with a bit of 'dubbing out'. maybe because it's modelling the old-skool delays?

i know what you mean on the (aliasing?) noise - like a zipper.

regards,
chris
