Gday
Any ideas on the above?
I was going to upgrade my digi001 to a digi002 but now I am having second thoughts and thinking about going to Logic and a compatible firewire interface. I have been using PT most recently but am drawn back to Logic as it is a better all round package IMO.
I don't mind and would even prefer a used unit simply to get more for my money.

M-audio Profire 2626 is under a grand, have used one and is on par with 002 but has more connectivity. Can't comment on mic pre's, haven't used them.

As far as the pres go? Well, it sure as shit sounded a lot beter than my 001 before it... Maybe that has more to do with the converters...
