Gear in the States

Hey all, haven't posted for a while, been planning a little trip, and now i'm on that trip.

I'm currently in the Seattle area of the states, then heading to New York, then who knows where...

What I wanted to ask though, does anyone know of any gear stores of note that I might peruse while here? I'm specifically looking for mics (because I can get them home easiest) but open to pretty much anything that is amazing and worth the effort.

I'm looking for new and second hand places..

For second hand I would look to see what is for sale on gearslutz. I brought my second hand Neumann before I left OZ and picked it up on the way home from the US.
New depending on what you want see who are the dealers.

Had I known that I would have asked if you could have picked up a para EQ I was interested in (it was in Seattle)...
I let it go as their freight costs were killer..

i reckon ur best bet would be to call some studios in Seattle, thats rihgt, not email...hehe.... just look em up online....and ask em where they'd recommend (heck, they might even offer u shit to buy...u know the tales of SSL's sitting in garages in the states...or was that Neve's? mmmmmmmmmmmmmm)

...it will be the easiest thing to do, i reckon.
