Frostwave is good stuff, But if you want to midify an analogue, you could get a synhouse midi jack.. these are tiny, about the size of a stick of gum and fit inside most things..
From memory, they are $100US.. I stuck one inside a SH-2 and it works brilliantly.

I tried the midijack route... looks nice, but the guy is a clown. I made a simple request regarding shipping (entirely at my expense) and they turned around and told me that they could be bothered doing it.
