Hi guys
Who wants to listen the latest JLM 500 series gear? I don't sell this stuff just love it, this is all my gear that I purchased from him at the going price,
There is no need to buy from the yanks anymore this is home grown gear. (well maybe Aussie assembled)
If so give me a ring 04006i6934 or pm me.

Well, as your phone died while I was talking to you nIC, I'm really keen.
Just need a date and time and I'll be there (hopefully anyway)
Tim..
My Action comps and lunchbox arrives tomorrow hot delivered from Legacy and I cant wait - would be nice to add some JLM PEQ500s to the lunchbox.
Mmmm Audio Heaven :-)

Agreed - was a top day last time - had a super time.
I know there'll be a few of us interested - just let us know a round-a-bout date and we can work from there..

Ok after testing out these JLM 500 units at Nics place I agree they are are the best sounding 500 series units I've tried.
The TG 500 sounded big and fat, not dull not bright just big, with lots more tone than any other 500 pre I've used.
The 99v just sounded really good, big and smooth also with a fair bit more headroom than most other 500 units, I hate the sound of most 500 series pres when the are pushed hard but this one sounded good when pushed a little.
The peq sounds good, adds some real vibe in the bottom end, sounds thick and rich when boosting 40-60hz a db or 2 without sounding flabby. So yeah for a digital mix which could use a bit of vibe and fattening up these little eq's do a pretty good job. Even the top end sounds reasonably smooth though did get a little bitey and a touch harsh but not in a real bad way at all.

Thanks Heath
Yeah I feel the JLM gear is just something to have, it also supports the Aussie guy. No need to buy OS and wait for big ass $ repairs and down time. Mind you I have had no problems with Legacy or Mixmasters.
