Hi guys, first post here so an intro...

I'm Brett and I'm an amateur/hobbyist working out of a spare bedroom of my home. Digi 002R, PTLE 7.3, NS10Ms, dodgy power amp, crap cables, lots of heavy blankets and am waiting for my first pre to arrive ( UA 6176 ).

Been spending a bit of time over at Love Hz where the generous Mr MC has allowed me to while away a tonne of hours taking notes and asking questions while he works......(I'm running out of annual leave at my day job so this may not last long :( )

I also visited Turtlerock for the first time last night for a mastering session and enjoyed sitting on "the couch" immensely!!

Anyway, that's my resume and that is all.......

Thanks for the welcome everyone....nice to be here "officially".

Pete, I've not forgotten that you and Tim do indeed "drink beer" hehehe.....as soon as I can find a spare minute on a weekend, we'll organize a time I'll bring some over. We could have our own little Audio Club in Camden..lol.

Tim, nooooooo car selling here mate - if I had to sell cars for a living my family would starve!!!

nIC, hi again mate...you probably don't remember me but I met you at Love Hz - you were dropping some gear off for Matt and MC to try out a while back.

Damien, don't go that far south much anymore...thanks for the offer tho' ;-)

....anyway, I'll go back to lurkin' and learnin' now.

Tim made me drink too much beer and bourbon last week. I'm a bit scared to try again but hey, "i"m not a quitter".

Oh, and watch out for nIC. He drops off his gear everywhere. In fact, the first time we met his gear was just falling off him.

Tell me about it - nIC picked up a Mercury and his arms dropped of - he then sprouted 2 API's out of his shoulder sockets instead..
Man, the guy is a growth of gear!! ;-}
