Working Mac Classic wanted. (Sydney)

Postby Futureman » Mon Jul 28, 2008 8:29 pm

Does anybody out here have a working Mac Classic? I'd prefer it to have an external SCSI CD drive, but that might be a bit of an ask.

I need one to connect to my Vintage Emulator II sampler, and a Mac classic is the ideal bit of kit to run the software off.

Much regards

Mike

You know I think I have an old SCSI cd Drive in the garage, is it worth me digging around for a look?

Mike, I've got a mint condition Classic 2 I bought new in 1992 or thereabouts - still got the box etc.

I think it's got a 40Mb hard drive and abour 2-4Mb ram or thereabouts if memory serves... it's the little B+W 9" screen jobby running system 7 I think.

Is that what you're looking for?

I think I threw away a boxed OS8 system last week, I will have a look in the garage and see if it is still there.
