where to get good quality hook up wire for diy

Postby harry » Mon Aug 04, 2008 9:59 pm

i know i should probably get a life but...
suggestions...

the jaycar stuff is totally crap - flex the wire a few times and it breaks...

i would like to use some canare mic cable (install) or similar but i wouldn't be able to twist the wires (which you gotta do when wiring pots of board yeah?)

so... good quality hookup wire?

Agree re: Jaycar, on the whole,

I've found the stuff Altronics sell to be pretty solid.

You could just strip the conductors out of some canare or mogami cable....
That's what I do most of the time.
