Just wondering if anyone has successfully recorded at 96k on a 002 or M-audio Pro fire interface using Pro Tools LE (Losers Edition) Am trying to run a Profire 2626 and Apogee Rosetta 800 via Smux at 96k and record a summed mix back in. I have 4 adat lightpipe cables and clocked via WC. But I can't get any audio in via either interface, it's going in but will not show up in a record armed track in PT. Looks like i'll have to use another rig purely to record the stereo file. Or i can try Logic but have to frig around and import all the files as the sessions are PT at 96k.
Anyone come across this?

Hey Barney, so it is playing back?
Took me a while to work out my rig too at 96k, actually took a few hours of buggering around.
1, is everything clocked the same, converters, interface and system clock.
2, In double wire mode you'll need to redo your routing in the interface for 96k. 1+2 = ch1, 3+4= ch 2 and so on, I think.
3, while the channel is armed did you try recording anyway even though metering shows no level is present, nuendo has done this to me while the track was armed and showing no audio, but audio was present and recorded just fine.
You probably have done all this, only stuff I can think of at the moment. It will be something simple more than likely, always is grrrrr.
