Equipment Stolen From Kennards in Sydney (Blacktown)

Postby Futureman » Sat Sep 27, 2008 1:58 am

Hey all..

My best friend is over for my Wedding (From the UK), and last night some theives broke into a whole heap of kennards storage blocks in Blacktown, among his.

They stole from his room,

Roland TR-808 Drum Machine
Jomox Xbase 09 Drum machine
Akai MCF-42 Filter (Rack filter)

Luckily, thats all the F&#$ers got... but still...

If anyone comes across any of these items being sold in a suspicious way, please let me know ....

And no, it's not insured.... ;[

Mourn with me Brothers and Sisters.

They say that insurance is the responsibility of the renter. I never insured stuff when I used to have all my gear in storage when I was on tour because I relied on the anonymity of being in a huge facility that was mostly full of people's household overflow, documents and so on. I figured that by taking out the insurance that was offered by the storage place all I was doing was giving someone a list of everything in my unit, and who knows how many people would have access to that list?

keep an eye out on

www.gumtree.com.au
tradingpost.com
ebay.com (obviously)

and give the cops and call and give them this stuff in a list so that if it ever gets registered at a pawn shop, u get a call.

(sorry if this is all obvious shit...just saying it in case)

Frigging thieves. It'd be nice to think that they only stole because they were trying to feed their starving children... but I'd bet my arse they're just after drug money. Anyway, I'll keep an eye out.
